Jasmine Kooner is an associate lawyer who has experience in a number of practice areas including litigation, corporate and commercial matters, and estate planning. She practices primarily in the area of litigation, with a focus on representing individuals who have been injured by the wrongful acts of others. Jasmine is able to communicate with her clients in Punjabi and would be happy to meet with anyone who requires these services.
Jasmine was born and raised in Kamloops. She attended Thompson Rivers University and earned her Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in finance in 2010, and graduated from the University of Victoria Law School with her Juris Doctor in 2013. Jasmine started working with Kerri Priddle as a summer student while she attended law school in 2011, returning to Kamloops to complete her Articles with Kerri. Jasmine was called to the British Columbia Bar in May of 2014.
Jasmine is proud to call Kamloops home and she is an active member in the community. She sits on the Board of Governors of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, serves as a Director for the Thompson Rivers University Alumni and Friends Association and is a member of the Rotary Club of Kamloops Aurora Centennial. She is also a past Director of the Merritt Chamber of Commerce and executive board member of the Kamloops Women Lawyers Forum section of the Canadian Bar Association.
In her free time Jasmine enjoys travelling, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
