Shazia Hosenbocus has a wealth of knowledge in many practice areas including civil litigation, personal injury, employment law, estate planning and administration, and corporate and commercial matters. Shazia has spent her summers working with Keri Priddle since 2013. After obtaining her Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in 2020, she returned to Priddle Law Group to complete her Articles.
As a legal professional, Shazia helps her clients navigate through complex legal issues, ensures they understand their rights and obligations, and ensures their voices are heard, whether it be in the courtroom or during negotiations.
Shazia was born and raised in Kamloops and is a first-generation Mauritian-Canadian. Giving back to the community has always been a passion of Shazia's. While attending Thompson Rivers University for her Bachelor of Business Administration, she volunteered with multiple community outreach projects through Enactus Thompson Rivers, United Way, GenNext, and the Heart & Stroke Foundation. During law school, she volunteered with the University of Calgary's legal aid clinic.
In her spare time, Shazia enjoys being active outdoors, camping, hiking, biking, and kayaking. Shazia is a member of the Canadian Powerlifting Union and spends a majority of her free time training for powerlifting competitions. She also volunteers as an Assistant Coach for the Special Olympics Powerlifting Team.
